Basically a two roomed pub with outside areas front and back and a particular sun trap of a conservatory on the front. Very much a local's pub serving two hand pulls with well presented beers and bar snacks such as pork pies and scotch eggs. There is a popular quiz on alternate Wednesdays at 9pm.

The bar area is long and quite narrow with regular lively local trade. Jenko's Mongolian barbecue opens at 6:00pm where you have a good choice of ingredients, sauces and spices. Choose what you want and it's cooked in front of you on a griddle. On Sundays the roast lunches are served from 12 noon until 3:00 PM which are very popular, so it is advisable to book in advance.
