A Victorian Grade II listed village local opened in 1834 in historic Coalbrookdale. It is opposite the Enginuity Museum and close to the Iron Bridge and industrial heritage museums which are part of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage site. Eight handpulls serve beers mainly from Shropshire and surrounding counties and is Locale accredited. This cosy pub welcomes dogs and families and has three rooms, two with real fires. A community local with darts, dominoes, guitar club on Mondays, ukulele night on Tuesdays, a fortnightly quiz on Wednesdays and occasional 'community eating' nights. Simple bar snacks are available.
