This 1835 pub has 3 distinct drinking areas and sun trap courtyard. With many guest beers from 14 cooled hand pulls it is longstanding Cask Marque accredited. Real cider, mild, and a stout or porter usually available, and a range of continental bottled beers. With many events: acoustic club Wednesdays, quality live music Thursdays and quiz nights last Sunday each month. Joint ale festivals with sister pub Elephant & Castle, Dawley 1st weekends May and October with 12,000 different ales since 1995.
