One of the changing beers will always be from Otter Brewery. Good-quality home-cooked food, with an emphasis on sea-food and using local produce where possible, is served lunchtimes and evenings seven days a week. Breakfast is available from 8am. The BeachComber function room is available for various functions and meetings and hosts live music on Friday evenings.

Within walking distance of Devon Cliffs (Sandy Bay) holiday park, the pub offers good value home-cooked food all day, with a carvery every Sunday. Karaoke is featured Friday and Saturday.

The Grapevine brewhouse is a stylish Victorian free house located in the centre of Exmouth and underwent a minor refurbishment in January 2020. It is home to Crossed Anchors Brewing and Ruby Diner burger specialists. Two or three Crossed Anchors beer are generally available and the other handpumps feature beers that are generally from the Southwest. There are twelve craft taps and three "Bag in the Box" ciders that are rotated on a regular basis. Food is provided by 'Ruby Diner Burger Specialists'.Live music on most Friday and Saturday nights, an open Mic session on a Wednesday and a general knowledge quiz on a Monday will keep you entertained. The TV is generally only used to show major international sporting events. Please note: closed Monday and Tuesday in winter months.

A friendly, informal club, approximately 100 yards from Exmouth Rail Station. The Wings Bar has regular live music and the usual games associated with a medium sized club (snooker, darts, pool). Entrance is free to non-members. Membership costs £5 a year with a 50p reduction on all drinks, so a good deal for regular patrons. Otter Bitter and either Rosie Pig or Taunton Cider Co. is on at all times, with an occasional guest real ale.
