A friendly and very popular back-street local, offering good beer and chat. A community hub, being twice the local branch community pub of the year and former branch Pub of The Year, traditional games are played such as darts, pool and euchre, and regular live music events are featured. Up to eight real ales and two ciders are normally on offer, which usually includes several LocAles. The snug is available for small gatherings and meetings. There is a log-burner in the main bar.
