Carpenters Arms

CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. Situated on a narrow cobbled street close to the castle, this excellent, recently refurbished, Nicholsons pub has been voted local pub of the year several times. The elegantly decorated interior is on three levels, the lowest of which is reputed to house a passageway to the castle. Ashby's Brewery tiles are retained on the floor by the entrance and hark back to the pubs former owners. The three regular beers are supplemented by up to five interesting guests depending on demand and usually include something dark.

The Hope has changed landlords again with the landlord from the Ye Olde Red Lion, Oakley Green taking over. The pub was relaunched on the 18th December 2018. We have updated WhatPub and look forward to it becoming a successful real ale destination. A Large modern two bar pub on the edge of the Ward Royal estate.

Small corner pub situated at the end of the pedestrianised area in Windsor. Fully refurbished and under new management in 2016 with 6 hand pumps serving real ales and two ciders. A small seated area outside is available and makes for a pleasant place to watch the world go by.

Duchess of Cambridge

This McMullens house is situated opposite the Castle and is popular with locals and tourists alike. McMullens produce a beer called Duchess which we understand is only available in draught at this pub. There are three distinct areas for both eating and drinking, and table service is available. The walls are adorned with pictures, splendid old photographs of the brewery and mirrors decorated with the McMullens name.
Duke of Connaught

Originally No.1 Connaught Cottages, this pub was the home of Charles Wilkins, a beer retailer in 1895. The pub was re-furbished in February 2019 in an airy more modern style and an L-shaped layout lends itself to distinct drinking areas. There is also a courtyard garden. Sporting events are popular and shown on two large screens. The pub is renowned for the quality of its freshly prepsred Thai food which can be eaten-in or taken away.

Small, cosy pub. Covered outside area which includes sofas and armchairs. One wall is covered in photographs of boxers and other boxing memorabilia. A large screen in the front bar area attracts sports fans. Bed and Breakfast accommodation can be arranged, near to the pub. Large car park. Bottles of Fuller's London Pride are available.
