Alma

Street corner pub situated about 15 minutes walk from the town centre. An eclectic mix of antiques and collectables can be found inside and a selection of rare movie posters adorn the walls. Reputedly has the largest beer garden of any pub in Windsor and this includes a covered area for smokers and for those wishing to keep out of the changeable English weather! They have recently installed a new play area to help keep the kids entertained. Sunday roasts are popular.

CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. This Grade II listed building was completely refurbished in a traditional style by new owners in February 2017 and designated as an Ale and Cider House. Fifteen hand pumps serve ten regularly changing real ales (1 Golden, 1 blonde, 2 American pale, 2 IPA & 2 bitter, 1 bitter line will become a stout/Porter for the Autumn/Winter. The full ten lines will be operational as soon as demand returns. Five real ciders (1 medium, 1 dry, 1 scrumpy, 1 flavoured - usually seacider or lilleys, 1 perry) and 19 keg lines: 1-2 sours, 1-2 stouts, 2 cider (both apple), 3 lager, 1 pilsner, 11-13 Pale/IPA. There will always be at least one ale from Big Smoke Brewery in Surbiton. The pub has a collection of vinyl records which are often played and a good selection of traditional pub food is available. Upstairs there is a function room with hand pumps on the bar and seating for up to 80 people. Unusually, there is a small, partly covered, roof-terrace, to cater for smokers, and those wishing to savour the outside atmosphere. Quiz night is Monday.

Small, cosy, wood panelled 17th Century inn, close to the Cambridge Gate entrance to Windsor Great Park. A great place to stop after viewing the Castle from the Long Walk. Popular with locals and tourist alike, it is advisable to book a table if intending to eat. Note there is no food served on Friday and Saturday evenings. Dogs are welcome, but due to its size, children are not allowed inside the pub. However, there are seats at the front if weather permits.

A great range of Belgian bottled beers is also available for those looking for something a bit different. The kitchen serves Pieminister pies during the day as well as Various Food Trucks throughout the week, then a traditional roast every Sunday.

CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. Formerly the Liberal Club, now a free-house open to all. The name refers to the adjacent Bachelors Acre. It has a full Premises licence and is open to the public, serving 3 real ales. Guardsman from Windsor and Eton brewery plus two ever changing guest beers. CAMRA Members get a 20% discount. Two function rooms are available for hire. Live music is hosted at weekends and open mic night is on a Monday. Live sporting events are shown regularly on BT Sport and Sky (2 screens for showing different matches at the same time). The Acre has baby changing facilities. There is a multi-storey car park across the road.

Formerly known as the River House and before that the Donkey House, The Boatman riverside pub in Windsor was re-furbished in March 2015. It has great views of the river from its large outside terraced area which can seat 100 and includes an all-weather area with retractable roof to cater for our English climate. Now you can eat and drink by the river all year round. It is a proper traditional pub which serves good, freshly cooked food in the bar or restaurant areas, and is also dog-friendly and child-friendly. Yes, dogs are welcomed in the bar and on the terrace and children are welcomed on the terrace and in the restaurant. They also take group bookings and love hosting parties, celebrations and events.
Windsor & Eton Brewery Unit 4 Taproom

CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. The brewery opened, in April 2016, their new onsite shop and bar. As of the 28th August 2021 a bigger and better taproom has been launched, called Unit Four. However the old taproom will remain open if the new taproom is closed to complete the works, so you will always be able to get beer! Unit Four features 8 HP's dispensing 6 of their beers plus 2 guests. In addition there are 22 keg lines for Uprising beers and guests. Real cider is usually Devon Red by Sandford Orchards. The decor is modern, relaxing and includes a mezzanine floor. There is an interesting range of cans and bottles. A new kitchen will offer a range of tasty food. The Hope has changed landlords again with the landlord from the Ye Olde Red Lion, Oakley Green taking over. The pub was relaunched on the 18th December 2018. We have updated WhatPub and look forward to it becoming a successful real ale destination. A Large modern two bar pub on the edge of the Ward Royal estate.

This McMullens house is situated opposite the Castle and is popular with locals and tourists alike. McMullens produce a beer called Duchess which we understand is only available in draught at this pub. There are three distinct areas for both eating and drinking, and table service is available. The walls are adorned with pictures, splendid old photographs of the brewery and mirrors decorated with the McMullens name.

Originally No.1 Connaught Cottages, this pub was the home of Charles Wilkins, a beer retailer in 1895. The pub was re-furbished in February 2019 in an airy more modern style and an L-shaped layout lends itself to distinct drinking areas. There is also a courtyard garden. Sporting events are popular and shown on two large screens. The pub is renowned for the quality of its freshly prepsred Thai food which can be eaten-in or taken away.
