Wild Boar

Award-winning Project William community pub, close to the railway station. An end-of-terrace Victorian building, it has a bar, snug and separate beer hall which was formerly a skittle alley. The pub is the taphouse for Slaughterhouse Brewery. Ten handpumps deliver Slaughterhouse, Everards and guest ales, with two real ciders also available. Outside is an attractive patio hop garden - the hops are used for Slaughterhouse's annual brew, the Green Hopper.

Very old building, once was a watermill. Part of the River Avon flows beneath the building. Major renovation in 2003, now run as a country eating house. Dining areas on two floors, ground floor bar has drinking only space. Outdoor terraces and garderns over look the river and the ruin of Guy's Cliffe house just downstream.

Popular local near Warwick Racecourse. The pub has a long association with the Royal Warwick Regiment. Outside, there is a large mural of the regiment in battle and inside there is other regimental memorabilia. The pub sign features the animal of the Warwickshire Regiment's badge.

Woodloes Tavern

A 1960s estate pub. Formerly named the Sarah Siddons, after the famous actress, who before she was married worked as a maid at nearby Guy's Cliffe House. Closed late 2008, renamed and reopened 29 October 2009. The pub has undergone an extensive redecoration and interior alterations. The exterior features bright purple-red paintwork which makes the building stand out. The interior is in the current fashionable shades of cream, stone and fawn, with red carpets and curtains. The bar remains in the same place but behind it is a new kitchen area and opposite are new toilets.
