One bar open plan community pub (which has just undergone a refurbishment following change of EI group ownership) with a variety of seating styles and areas to choose from. The long bar and the majority (rear) of the room is on a raised platform. Lot's of entertainment on offer from pub games, several large screen TV's throughout the room and piped music.

Hyst

218 High Street, Swansea SA1 1PE

An events based lounge bar, located in one of the business quarters in the city centre. This interesting venue consists of a large "L" shaped room with two comfortable lounge areas at either end and table seating in the middle, next to the corner stage area. All decorated in a modern semi industrial theme. Open all day, its open during the daytime as the "Hyst Coffee & Kitchen". Live music and events are held mostly at evenings and the end of the week. It's also used as a radio/TV studio with a sound proof studio at one end and a raised platform above the bar. The food menus covers Greek food and "Melbourne style Coffee" plus a variety of Sandwiches, Salads, Jacket Potatoes through to larger meals.

Waterfront

Langdon Road, Swansea SA1 8QY

As the name implies, this newly built Beefeater bar and restaurant is located alongside the waterfront within the major redevelopment of the Swansea docks area. (It shares a large block with a Premier Inn hotel and Tesco Express). There are several other hotels and businesses located nearby. Within there is a large l-shaped room with separate seating areas for the bar and restaurant. The restaurant is also open for breakfast 6.30am - 10.30am (Mon-Fri), 7am - 11am (Sat-Sun)

Zinco Lounge

30 Princess Way, Swansea SA1 5HE

This popular café bar (part of the Loungers chain) is located in the centre of the city (in what used to be a large department store) and is set in a pedestrian area. It is a long room with floor-length windows and an elevated balcony seating area at the rear. Inside, there is the usual "Loungers chain style" of interesting décor, with lots of paintings everywhere, and upcycled furniture. A wide range of meals are available throughout the day. There is a quiz held every Sunday at 8 pm. No real ale is available, but there are two craft draught beers available along with a large range of other drinks.

Brewstone

33 Uplands Crescent, Swansea SA2 0NP

Located in the lively Uplands Crescent area of Swansea. Brew Stone specialises in "wood fire cuisine, craft beers and coffee". It is a large establishment with lots of rooms in various levels plus a roof top terrace area. There is also a separate bar area which is open in evenings only. They also have a large selection of beers in bottles, including many bottled conditioned foreign beers. All decorated in a modern stripped down industrial theme. There are two areas, a restaurant side which is open all day, where there is a wall of beer taps in the long ground floor bar, two of which are cask ales powered by electric pumps. The kitchen area on the ground floor is open plan and the large wood fired oven is easily seen.

Swansea Marriott Hotel

Maritime Quarter, Swansea SA1 3SS

Located on the edge of the City Centre in the Marina quarter, this large hotel has excellent views across the nearby Swansea Bay and beach. The hotel restaurant and bar (Cast Iron Bar & Grill), which is open to non hotel residents, is located on the ground floor with the bar and a small comfortable lounge area at the entrance. Behind this is the restaurant, with views overlooking the historic marina area. Breakfast is also served.

Beer Riff

Pilot House Wharf, Swansea SA1 1UN

This brewery and tap is located in a blue clad two story building next to the River Tawe wharf in the south side of Swansea Marina. The ground floor contains the brewery, disabled entrance (located at the right hand end of the building) plus toilets. The brewery tap is on the first floor and is normally accessed via external stairs at the rear. The upstairs bar is a single room, attractively decorated in a modern style with an unusual black concrete bar at the end. There are excellent views over the adjacent river into the Swansea marina and docks areas. No cask ale! But there are up to 15 craft beers available, one of which will always be a cider, with at least five brewed on site. Food is also available from the on site pizzeria.

Juniper Place

An ultra modern restaurant and gin bar, which opened in 2017. It has its own micro gin distillery (called Cygnet) at the end of the building, visible through glass walls.
