The pleasant seating area surrounding the pub has a variety of shrubs plus heated patio areas, while the comfortable interior features a log fire to the rear and several flaming gas fires. Good food is offered until 10pm. All cask ales are sold at a special price on Mondays & Thursdays. Car parking requires registration entry.

Live music is hosted on the last Friday of the month. A small beer terrace is to the front. Car parking is free but requires registration number entry at the bar.
