This large Wells and Young's house at the western end of the esplanade underwent a major refurbishment in late 2019. The inside bar and balcony has been tastefully redecorated while outside all of the tables and chairs have been replaced with additional heaters added to keep hardy souls warn in winter. A 10 to 15 minute walk from the town centre, which is served by good bus and train links. Food times given are winter times. In summer food is served all day. The upstairs balcony has good views across the bay and Exe estuary. Families are welcome, and the large beer garden is popular during the summer months.

Large pub restaurant located between town centre and seafront. Split over several levels including a topfloor cocktail lounge and outside terrace and balcony. Wide selection of drinks and a varied menu including Sunday roasts. Occasional live music. Cocktail bar open 17.00-late Wed-Sat.

A popular pub selling good beer. Although owned by St Austell the other regular ales are guest beers from a variety of breweries, sourced nationally. It is a pub well supported by the local community, with two ladies' and two gents' darts teams, six pool teams, two euchre teams and a Sunday night quiz. Dogs are welcome at all times, and families until 7pm. Although wheelchair access is straightforward, access to the toilets can be difficult.

The Manor Hotel is situated on Exmouth's historic Regency Beacon, and is its oldest hostelry dating back to the 1790's, and was once visited by the composer Franz Liszt in 1840. The hotel, which is just a short stroll from the beach, offers accommodation in 40 en-suite rooms. A table d'hote restaurant is available, plus lounge and bar facilities. A lift is available to all floors. The reception area has recently been refurbished and there is a large function room available for all types of meetings, with free wireless internet access. This seafood and steak restaurant is located in a modern building on the edge of Exmouth marina. It also acts as a cafe during the day. Local produce, especially seafood, are to the fore and one handpull serves a beer from Otter brewery, usually Otter Ale. Regular jazz nights are held on Sunday evenings from 6pm and there's a quiz on Thursday evening from 8.45pm.

A Wetherspoons pub named after Nancy Perriam whose sewing skills earned her a berth in the navy where she also acted as a powder monkey. Nancy lived in nearby Tower Street. A powder monkey was naval slang for boys and girls who filled shells and cartridges with gunpowder on board ships of war. The building was converted from local newspaper offices. The bar is adjacent to the central seating areas, with a number of rooms off it.
