Essex's first micropub. Four beers are served by gravity, and always include local breweries as well as interesting beers from around the country, with usually a stout or porter and a golden beer. In addition there are craft kegs, around 100 bottled beers from local and international breweries, and bottled cider, which may be drunk there or purchased to take home. This "Craft Beer & Artisan Gin" micro-pub is a converted shop with tables and seating in a large front room, leading to a smaller area with the bar. The pub serves 12 changing keykeg beers and 6 real ciders. There is also a selection of over 50 gins, 30 vodkas and many other spirits. Food is not currently available although you are welcome to bring your own. Children allowed till 6pm.
