17th century ironstone building just a few yards from Banbury Cross. A single room pub often featuring live music, or major sports on several screens. There is a small outside drinking area beside the pub. The bar has two handpumps serving ales from the locality, often featuring a Purity beer. It is possible to park outside the pub, but these are council run parking bays and are 'pay and display' until 7pm
Olde Reine Deer Inn

Traditional old English pub which first became an inn in 1570, featuring original wood panelling dating from the English Civil War. It is reported to be the location where Cromwell's men met to plan the Battle of Edge Hill and the siege of Banbury Castle.
