17th century ironstone building just a few yards from Banbury Cross. A single room pub often featuring live music, or major sports on several screens. There is a small outside drinking area beside the pub. The bar has two handpumps serving ales from the locality, often featuring a Purity beer. It is possible to park outside the pub, but these are council run parking bays and are 'pay and display' until 7pm
