A basement bar at the entrance to a lane opposite Ayr Town Hall, identified only by a small sign on the wall next to the door. There are two handpumps, which dispense changing beers from Ayr Brewing Co and Fyne Ales. It hosts a quiz night on Tuesdays and DJ nights Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The outside drinking area has been upgraded.

A fine Scottish baronial style building, in the same ownership since 1966. Located just under a mile south of Ayr town centre and a 20 minute walk from the railway station. The seafront is five minutes away, with golf courses, parks and Burns attractions nearby. The delightful and aptly named Copper Bar has the real ale. There are also several pleasant areas including a Dining Room and Games Room with TV showing sports events. Real flame fires add to the warm inviting atmosphere. Meals are available although it is advisable to book.
