Opened in January 2014 on the ground floor of a new office block. Literature-and-flowers-themed Drake and Morgan modern-style pub. London Pride was on the one hand-pump. This had been removed by January 2016 and Woodforde’s Wherry was available on keg.

New pub in former Tapas bar opened in 2014. Having been part of the Grand Union chain, it became part of the Draft House chain which was acquired by Brewdog in 2018. Re-opened 30th November 2018 following a refurbishment. Three cask beers available along with many keg beers from Brewdog and others. Rebranded during lockdown 2021

Converted warehouse, which later served as the Brick Lane Music Hall. Very spacious square interior, dominated by a big square 100% island bar. Distressed plasterboard ceiling, big suspended lights made from gramophone trumpets. A mixture of bare brick and distressed walls with huge clear front windows. Raised area up one step along the front, raised and railed dining area on the left, dance floor on the right, small stage at back. Popular, not easily filled, relaxed atmosphere, a trendyish element but not exclusively, aged 30s and 40s, some ethnic mix, female-friendly. Keg Brooklyn Lager, London Fields Hackney Hopster, Murphy and standard lagers. Bottled beers include Brooklyn Lager, Dixie, Duvel, Fordham Route One IPA, Innis & Gunn, Kona Big Wave and Longboard, Vedett Blonde and White. Eight wines by the glass. Cocktails and spirits, including lots of bourbons. Opened in 2005 as Hell, renamed the same year as Bar Music Hall (the only UK pub owned by Belgian brewer Duvel-Moortgat), closed early 2010s. Reopened May 2014 as the second Blues Kitchen.

Not big inside with Industrial decor, visible kitchen at rear, modern art and a real mix of chairs & tables including formica. Relaxed atmosphere, 30s predominate, some ethnic mix, female-friendly. Keg Brewers Union Steph Weiss, Camden Hells and Ink, Freedom Dark Lager, Fuller Wild River, London Fields Hackney Hopster and one other, Meantime Yakima Red. Forty bottled beers, including Beavertown, By the Horns, Camden, Crate, Hackney, Kernel, London Fields, Pressure Drop, Redchurch, Thornbridge. Thirty-nine wines by the glass. Cocktails. Over thirty gins & tonics. Cappucino machine, using London-roasted coffee. Short menu, five mains mostly £10-14, plus smaller plates. Converted commercial building. A separate unit from the former Barley Mow at #50. In the late 1990s this was Can, selling only canned beers. Renamed c.2000 as Stream (bar), closed some time later in the decade, serving as a noodle café and as a shop. Reopened again Dec 2013 as Kench & Bibsey (cocktail bar). Flooded March 2014, changed hands and reopened in May under new name
