Busy locals' pub with a public bar and 3 other drinking areas. It holds quizzes twice weekly and has darts and domino teams in the local charity league. Winner of several local CAMRA awards including the Branch Pub of the Year 1998, Pub of the Season in 2011 & Wakefield CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2013. It holds an annual Beer Festival. The licensed area now includes part of the upper floor. The Henry Smith brewery is behind pub, although some house beers are brewed at Revolutions.
