built in the 70s by Hull Brewery as the Cobbler, and themed with shoemenders whereas the actual local cobblers laid the cobbles on roads, popular for dining, then for a long time was the Yorkshire Penny a family dining pub, now back to the Cobbler, proclaiming itself as "home of the famous Cobbler Pie".
