An extended and much modernised local in what was the historic village centre, just off the Whitchurch shopping area. Following a recent refurbishment, it is now entirely devoted to lounge bar / dining and the last vestige of a public bar has disappeared. The lawn at the rear is popular in summer. Guest beers are from Brains. A mini beer festival is held in July.
