Popular city centre Brains pub with a traditional appearance and friendly bar staff, attracting a brisk trade from both locals and visitors. Dating from 1813 as the Blue Bell, it was renamed Goat Major in 1995 after the mascot of the Royal Welsh Regiment, a fact that was proudly illustrated in the many photographs adorning the cosy interior.
