Sister establishment to a pub of the same name in Mold. Opened in late November 2016. The pub consists of a large L shaped bar/lounge downstairs with a restaurant upstairs, food is also served in the downstairs lounge area. Toilets are on the ground floor although they are down a couple of steps. There is a beer garden and smoking area to the rear. The pub is clean and bright with ceiling beams and exposed brick walls.

Records show the current pub is built on the site of an older Turf Tavern from the 1840's. Historically the Racecourse has been used for cricket, horseracing, rugby as well as football. Food is available on match days when you can have a pint with a burger and chips order.
