Known to all as the Vanni, this popular and well run Fuller's pub is well worth the ten minutes walk from the town centre. There is a separate pool room which has a small swap library and daily newspapers. The large garden is ideal for Summer barbecues and is available to hire for functions. Paid parking nearby.

Tucked away just off the main shopping street, this Wetherspoon's takes its name from the old Saxon word which eventually became Windsor. The building definitely won't win any architectural awards but there is seating outside the front of the pub. Relatively quiet during the day, however, it's proximity to nightclubs make it a handy stop off for a younger crowd later in the evening.

Single-bar pub situated adjacent to the Long Walk that leads up to the real Windsor Castle. The decked seating area outside is a perfect place to rest up, relax and admire the view. There is also a large conservatory when the weather is inclement. The pub serves good quality food with week-end specials and unusually for Windsor has a car park. Sports fans are catered for with 3 TV screens and the pub is also dog friendly.

Large open plan bar on the edge of Windsor town centre. Recently refurbished with a tradition breweriana adorned style. Accommodation comprises nine en-suite rooms. There is also a large room at the rear with patio doors opening onto the garden which can also serve as a function room for hire. Adnam’s Southwold Bitter and Oakham Citra are the permanent real ales accompanied by 3 rotating guest beers as well as 2 craft keg options. For the traditional cider enthusiasts there’s a great range of at least 9 to choose from all served cool direct from the cellar. A great range of Belgian bottled beers is also available for those looking for something a bit different. The kitchen serves Pieminister pies during the day as well as Various Food Trucks throughout the week, then a traditional roast every Sunday.

CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. Formerly the Liberal Club, now a free-house open to all. The name refers to the adjacent Bachelors Acre. It has a full Premises licence and is open to the public, serving 3 real ales. Guardsman from Windsor and Eton brewery plus two ever changing guest beers. CAMRA Members get a 20% discount. Two function rooms are available for hire. Live music is hosted at weekends and open mic night is on a Monday. Live sporting events are shown regularly on BT Sport and Sky (2 screens for showing different matches at the same time). The Acre has baby changing facilities. There is a multi-storey car park across the road.

Opened with new ownership on 3 May 2018 after prolonged closure and chequered history. Now a smart and welcoming pub with a Scottish theme and five hand pumps often selling Scottish beer. There is also a good range of Scotch whiskies on offer as well as food with a Scottish theme. Unusually for a pub, it displays and sells good quality original artwork.

Boatman

Formerly known as the River House and before that the Donkey House, The Boatman riverside pub in Windsor was re-furbished in March 2015. It has great views of the river from its large outside terraced area which can seat 100 and includes an all-weather area with retractable roof to cater for our English climate. Now you can eat and drink by the river all year round. It is a proper traditional pub which serves good, freshly cooked food in the bar or restaurant areas, and is also dog-friendly and child-friendly. Yes, dogs are welcomed in the bar and on the terrace and children are welcomed on the terrace and in the restaurant. They also take group bookings and love hosting parties, celebrations and events.

This bar is in the old fire station attached to the Old Court (Arts Centre) and is run by Windsor & Eton Brewery. On the bar they have two changing keg beers from their range (Republika, Eton Rifles, Treason, Capital, White Riot & GUARDSMAN, a range of bottled beers and a rotating cask ale from the brewery. They show films most days some being for mothers and children, but others being popular circuit films after they've been shown by the big screens, phone for details.

CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. The brewery opened, in April 2016, their new onsite shop and bar. As of the 28th August 2021 a bigger and better taproom has been launched, called Unit Four. However the old taproom will remain open if the new taproom is closed to complete the works, so you will always be able to get beer! Unit Four features 8 HP's dispensing 6 of their beers plus 2 guests. In addition there are 22 keg lines for Uprising beers and guests. Real cider is usually Devon Red by Sandford Orchards. The decor is modern, relaxing and includes a mezzanine floor. There is an interesting range of cans and bottles. A new kitchen will offer a range of tasty food. Windsor's first micropub. Winner of CAMRA branch Pub Of The Year 2021 and SIBA Best UK Craft Beer Retailer 2021. In addition to the two casks, there are 11 keg lines. A highlight are the five fridges with bottled and canned beer with a focus on local and international beers. The fridges are arranged by beer style, with one fridge for cider. The pub has a canning machine to can cask and keg beer for a take-away while you wait. The premises can also be used for tutored tastings events or private functions.
