Brewhouse & Kitchen
6-12 Swan Street, Wilmslow SK9 1HE
Opened in 2016, this brewery diner is significantly different from the Wetherspoon pub that used to be here. The brewery is a wonder of gleaming copper, directly next to the lounge area. The décor is unsurprisingly beer-related with lamps made from beer glasses & bottles. The bar offers four cask ales, all brewed on the premises by Brewhouse & Kitchen, with locally themed names. There are generally about 3 or 4 of their own keg beers with about 20 keg lines in all. Tasting paddles and one-third pints are available. Beer tasting Master-classes and hands-on brewing days can be purchased. Draught beer take-away is available in mini-kegs or growlers. The food focuses on steaks & burgers but there are also selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The menu has suggested beer pairings for most dishes. The current beer selection & menu are available on the website. Part of the pub can be sectioned off to form a function room.
