Up to four real ales from independent brewers are available, often with an emphasis on local ales. Regular live bands, jam nights and karaoke feature. Wednesday nights host stand-up comedy, pub quiz or bingo, generally on a rotating basis. The games room includes a pool table. The pub actively supports local charities and good causes and is a former local CAMRA Community Pub of the Year.

Large red-brick pub near Warrington General Hospital which briefly reintroduced cask ale Summer 2015 but has now reverted to keg only. Occasional Live music, Quiz night Sunday, Karaoke Saturday night.

The Bull’s Head is still a rambling 17th Century pub, converted from a row of ancient cottages. There are a good variety of rooms within, pool room, comfortable bar area and a couple of cosy snugs. At the rear is a modern function room and one of the few remaining crown greens. The Warrington Singers Club, founded in the late 1960’s, meet here every Sunday night from 8.30pm, with a chance to sing or play supplemented by special guest every few weeks. Identified by CAMRA as having a regionally important historic pub interior. Under temporary management July 2020.
