Ducks Ditty Floating Café Bar

The Ducks Ditty Cafe Bar is a floating coffee house and fully licensed bar, usually serving at least three real ales. It is located at Tiverton Wharf on the Great Western Canal Country Park and Nature Reserve. The opening times given are for April, May, September and October. In June, it open from 12 to 5pm, and in July and August from 10am to 5pm. The Ducks Ditty is closed on Monday's, except in August.

Tiverton Horse Drawn Barge

The Tiverton Horse-Drawn Barge is one of the last remaining horse-drawn barges in the UK. A lovely and memorial trip on the Great Western Canal from Tiverton Wharf. There is a fully licensed bar serving real ales from Otter Brewery, plus a wide selection of other drinks tea, coffee and snacks. The spendid wide beam 75 seater horse-drawn Barge runs to timetable from 1st April to 31st October (see website for details).

The Tiverton Hotel is a Best Western establishment, set in two and a half acres of mature gardens, with 69 en-suite bedrooms. The bar is open to non-residents, and sells one real ale. The Gallery restaurant, open to all, offers good-value lunches and evening meals. There is a popular carvery on Sunday. Full wheelchair access is provided, with lifts to the first floor. The hotel is about half-a-mile from the town centre, near Tesco. The hotel is open 24 hours.
