Large, 1930's pub on the outskirts of the village. A modern open-plan interior has been successfully arranged to give a separate room effect to the bar, lounge, family and dining areas. The sensibly priced food menus with many special offers account for a significant part of the pub's trade. At the moment no real ale is served. A half acre garden at the rear.

Lively pub with a main room and a function room with a skittle alley. Strong emphasis on sports. The main part of the pub is split level, arranged about a central bar. The public bar area allows darts be played. Away from the bar the lounge is spacious and to one side is an alcove area with lots of exposed beams. The function room has its own bar and may be hired for private parties. Food is served lunchtimes. No food Saturday & Sunday eve.

Don't let the name fool you, the railway is a long time gone, however this traditional pub with its low beamed ceiling is adorned with photographs and memorabilia from that bygone age. A large lounge is served from an 'L' shaped bar, a conservatory leads to the paved covered smoking area, to decking and a well maintained garden. Good value food is served. Live entertainment weekly and a 'Cask Club' runs on Monday evenings offering 20p off a pint.

This popular village local has become a regular entry in the GBG. Formerly a Mad O'Rourke pub, it still maintains a link to its quirky past with a selection of framed front pages from its own newspaper adorning the walls. As well as real ale, a selection of traditional fruit wines and single malt whiskies are always available. Good quality reasonably priced meals cooked by the licensee are served seven days a week, the Desperate Dan Cow Pie being the house speciality.

Recently refurbished this pub has a modern brown/cream decor, it consists of a single bar serving two rooms, a sparsely furnished lounge with stools and upholstered bench seating and a further room housing dart board, pool table and gaming machines. There is a 'Big Screen' television in the lounge which shows Sky Sports, and a well used juke box offers music throughout. No food.
