Local friendly pub on the edge of the town centre, Reopened as the Moors Tavern, the clubhouse for Spennymoor football club in August 2016, and the history of the football club is reflected in the smart refurbishment. After closure due to football club using a clubhouse at its ground, it reopened in November 2021

Live music is hosted each Saturday night and monthly on Thursday and Sunday.

Clever remodelling of former retail premises (a sandwich shop) as a smart little bar. Unusually comfortable micropub due to the plush carpet. The "cellar" is very close to the pumps - beer is housed in cleverly converted fridges directly beneath the bar. Small yard for outside drinking to take advantage of the sunshine. Handily located next door to the Chinese takeaway.
