Royal Hotel
30 Station Street, Pudsey LS28 8PR
Although the large stone building is imposing, the interior is comfortable and welcoming. The pub retains many original features and appears in Yorkshire's Real Heritage Pubs book. Four rooms, all with high ceilings, are accessed from the terrazzo floored central corridor. The end of the bar serves the corridor while the main part is in the main room, on the right. Here, fixed wooden seating with padding extends around the exterior walls. In the carpeted room to the front left the seating style is repeated and a fire place and bell pushes are retained. There is another room to the rear left. Beyond the stairs in the corridor is access to a room that contains a pool table and adjoins the main room though there is no direct access. Dogs are made to feel welcome.
Manor Inn
Manor House Street, Pudsey LS28 7BJ
A modern, community-focused alehouse round the back of the Town Hall, this little pub packs a lot into its small proportions. The wooden-boarded single room has cushioned benches along one side and a bar along the other, with four pumps dispensing local and interesting ales. The fridge is packed with quality beverages, the walls have large (but only occasionally noisy) TVs for music and sport, sometimes there is live music, and all the time dogs are welcome.
Rudy's Bar
57 Lidget Hill, Pudsey LS28 7LJ
Small bar with plenty of seating - high stools near the bar, settles in the rear raised area and a more secluded area upstairs. No real ale but a few interesting beers both in the fridge and on the taps, expect to see BrewDog, Sierra Nevada and Leffe too. Also a good range of gins, empty bottles of which have been turned into colourful artwork. Light and dark coloured wood features heavily in the decor.
