An historic and allegedly haunted 14th Century pub just off Poole Quay retaining many original features. The long main bar area offers comfortable seating, darts and bar billiards and shows live sports. The unique adjoining medieval Kings' Banquet Hall is constructed from original oak ship beams and hosts live music every weekend. There is an excellent menu of home-cooked food and carveries on Sunday. There are two regular beers and two well chosen guests usually sourced from local breweries.

The good value home cooked food is worthwhile investigating, but finishes early on Sunday for the quiz.
