This former social club has been completely refurbished and repoened in Dec 2014. It is primarily a bar with a good food and breakfast menu, and an extensive grill menu.
Falstaff Inn

Large two storey split level estate pub, built in 1968 on the northern edge of Plymouth. It has a surprisingly unspoilt interior comprising the large lounge bar on the right (mostly used for events) with views of the rolling south Devon hills. The public bar is to the left when you enter. This is very much a community pub. One real ale is available, which is believed to be Sharp's Doom bar.

Popular pub located on the historic Barbican. The original Mayflower steps would have been located at the rear of the pub. Upto three real ales are served, mainly from local breweries. It is decorated throughout with a nautical theme. It can get busy in the Summer, with locals and visitors alike. Discos are held on Saturday nights, with occasional live music and charity quizzes. Evening meals are not served on Saturday or Sunday evenings. Accommodation is available, some with sea views. TV sports are also shown on the large screen TV. Sometimes can close early on Sunday evenings when not busy.

Cracking back-street local tucked away in the old quarter of Stonehouse, close to the magnificent Grade 1-listed Royal William Yard, and maintains the area’s military connections. One South West guest beer, such as a beer from Black Tor, Dartmoor and Summerskills, and Thatchers Heritage or Cheddar Valley cider are normally available and supplement the Draught Bass. An out of season Beach Party takes place on the last weekend of February, and charity monkey-racing also features. This place is a real find and is popular with hockey teams who use the nearby pitches.

Large city centre pub which was taken over by Stonegate Pub Co in July 2013. Six hand pulls now adorn the bar, with three dedicated to real ale and three for cider. It is expected that the Old Rosie and Thatchers ciders will become permanent, allowing a guest cider to change weekly. Beer and cider festivals are planned for the future. This 18th century coaching inn is located on the Plymouth side of the River Tamar, beneath the railway bridge that gives the pub its’ name (1860). It is a small, but friendly, two bar local. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Real ale is not available here. This pub dates from 1870-1880 but we have very limited information available. Real ale is may be available here, following an unconfirmed report following the pub sale from Punch Taverns to Star (Heieken UK) in March 2018.

One of the few pubs to serve real ales in the western part of the city, the three regualr beers are supplemented by up to three guest beers, sourced locally, although they can come from further afield. An annual beer festival is held in August. Good value food is served daily from 1200 - 1430 (1600 Sun) and 1800 - 2030 (not Sun, Mon or Tue evenings). Free pool Mon - Fri 1200-1700, happy hours and other special offers feature daily. Weston's Old Rosie real cider is available, with at least one other guest real cider. Motorhomes may be parked here by prior arrangement! A community lending library also features.

Popular pub in the Crownhill area of the city, offering upto three real ales, entertainment and food. The pub re-opened after refurbishment a couple of years ago, and now serves the "Flaming Grill" range of grills, steaks, burgers and salads. Sky Sports & BT Sports HD is available for sports enthusiasts. The pub car park is now pay-and-display, but fees are reimbursed in the pub (restrictions apply). This free house was formally the Brewery Tap for the South Hams Brewery which, as Sutton, was located next door. The three regular ales are supplemented by a regularly-changing guest ale, such as Adnams Ghost Ship, Bath Ales Gem or one from local brewery, Summerskills, and a real cider, which changes from time to time. The pub can be accessed across the swing-bridge from The Barbican (closes at 11.00pm) and is situated close to the National Marine Aquarium. Live music features every Friday and Saturday evenings until 0300, giving a great atmosphere. Biltong snacks are available from the bar.

Once described as "the country pub in the city", the pub has seen a major refurbishment during mid-2016. Up to two guest ales may accompany the Doom Bar. The main entrance has been reconfigured, and the stage moved from the front of the pub to the middle to reduce noise for neighbours. It has also seen a complete redecoration inside, along with a new kitchen and new food menu (with Daily Specials). Live entertainment takes place on weekend evenings, with jam sessions planned for other evenings. Quiz nights also feature on alternate Tuesday evening from 2100. Situated in the heart of Devonport, the pub has been refurbished and the name changed from Bristol Castle to King Billy in September 2019. There is good support from local darts teams, alongside increased local customer interest. A warm welcome awaits new customers. This is a busy street corner pub serving a mixed clientele and is situated near Plymouth Hoe, where Sir Francis Drake famously played bowls. Up to four varying real ales, including one from Altarnun, Bays, Dartmoor, Roam or Summerskills, supplement the house beer, Drunken Hoe, and two local real ciders. Good home-cooked food is available all day, with breakfast served from 1000-1200. The wood panelled raised and lower deck seating areas add to the nautical theme. It is located just a short walk from the historic Barbican and is well worth a visit. Live sports are shown on the large screen TV. This is an older pub close to Sutton Harbour and the Barbican Leisure Complex. It is still a one-roomed corner terraced pub with a slate floor. It is a favourite haunt of local fishermen, and also local people who still live close by. Paintings of local fishing trawlers adorn the walls, as do old photographs of the pub in days gone by. The one well-kept rotating ale on offer generally comes from the St Austell and Bath Ales breweries, such as Trelawny, Tribute or Gem, although beers from Hunters also appear regularly. Ferry House Inn

A warm welcome awaits you and your dog from both the landlord and locals at this picturesque riverside pub, which is situated on the River Tamar, which separates Devon from Cornwall. There is a decking area outside, giving spectacular views of Brunel's iconic railway bridge, which dates 1859. Good home-cooked food is served daily, and uses locally sourced ingredients, with a daily specials board also featuring. The bars display photos of IKB's bridge dating back to the turn of the 20th century, and photos of the pub, and the Saltash foot ferry, after which the pub was named. The pub has seven en-suite rooms on the new third floor. There is a quiz on Sunday evenings.

One real ale from Purity Brewery is usually available here, which was the first pub to be rebuilt in Plymouth after complete destruction during the Blitz of 1941. There is a very small range of bottled ales (such as Newcastle Brown Ale), although they are not bottle conditioned. It is family-friendly until 1930 daily. There is live entertainment at weekends. The pub is also dog friendly.
