One of Melton Mowbray and Everards' most historic pubs and an icon for the town. Part of the property dates back to 1327 when it was home to monks. The house was gifted to Anne of Cleves by Henry VIII as part of her divorce settlement. It is now a popular hostelry following a sympathetic conversion and restoration in 1996. It has stone-flagg floors, exposed timber beams and wall tapestries throughout. The building is said to be haunted. The beer garden recently won a silver award from 'East Midlands in Bloom'.

A small town centre pub opposite the market place with a distinctive bay window to the front. The pub consists of one long narrow room with the bar area to the rear of the pub. There is a restaurant upstairs which is mainly utilised for Sunday lunches. The pub is usually busy, but with a friendly welcome for visitors. Several interior doors at the rear of the pub have stained glass spelling out 'Grapes'.

The Half Moon can be found in the middle of an old row of half-timbered buildings adjacent to Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe in which Dickinson and Morris sell their traditional Melton Mowbray Pork Pies. The pub itself is a long and narrow two roomed building. The front bar starts on street level but then climbs to a higher level and the serving area. A small lounge is to the rear of this with a pool table at the back. A large screen Tv and dart board in the front bar room with a smaller Tv and another dart board in the rear bar. Weekends there is a DJ providing loud music until late with the occasional live act. There is a courtyard to the rear and side of the building with covered smoking are with tables and chairs.

The Noels is a popular single roomed town pub. It became a free-house in 2013 and shows a commendable commitment to real locally sourced ale. in 2020 the new tenants completely renovated the whole premises including the kitchen and bedrooms, because of this The Noels Arms now offers B&B, 2 double rooms, 2 single rooms and a family room. Live music features prominently and consequently the pub is often very busy on a Friday and Saturday evening, 9.30 - 24.00 with quieter sessions on Sunday afternoons, 16.00 - 20.00. There always seems to be something going on at the Noels with darts, pool and cribbage also available. Branch pub of the year 2014.

A pleasant and very popular village pub with two rooms and a small drinking area in front of the bar. In addition there is a pleasant snug to the left of the bar. Original wooden beams and red tiled floors throughout add to the charm of the pub along with a real fire with logs stacked adjacent and champagne case lids attached to the fireplace wall. There are tables and seats in front of pub and to the rear where smoking is allowed in an uncovered area. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays are specials nights.

A traditional single roomed pub that takes its name from a canal basin that was once adjacent. The walls are decorated with old pictures of the town and a map of the old Melton - Oakham canal whose workers this establishment once served. The pub is always busy with mature drinkers and the local darts teams who enjoy good conversation with their pint. Welcome restoration of a restaurant back to a pub in 2014. The White Hart won a local most popular bar competition later in that year. Now renamed by new licensees with a Northern Soul theme. Disco and live music events are now planned in this single room pub split into three seating areas. Access to the pub can be gained from both the front and the rear of the building.

A cafe bar created from a converted shop. The Montero Lounge is on two levels with a rooftop terrace upstairs. An eclectic mix of furnishings and pictures along with industrial lighting, wooden floor and painted brick walls in places with iron posts give this establishment the feel of being an old warehouse. However, it has been created in such a way that it feels both comfortable and cosy. The bar is to the left of the downstairs room, with stairs to the upper level on the right side. Although no real ale is available, the draught beer that is served is good quality and usually Bath Ales 'Dark Side', Bristol Beer Factory 'Loungers Cruiser Atlantic Pale Ale' and Goose Island 'Goose Honkers Ale'. Bottled beers available include Bath Ales 'Gem' and Founders 'All Day IPA'. Gluten Free and Vegan menu choices are available. There is a quiz at 8pm on Sunday evenings.

The club was first established in 1923. The membership book included a list of Honorary members headed by the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Gloucester. The bar is open to the public, membership is not required. There is a Main Bar, Function Room, Games Room and of course outdoor tennis courts. The club is a single storey building set in two acres of land set back off Sandy Lane at the bottom of the aptly named Tennis Avenue. The club offers a variety of social evenings including quizzes, discos, live bands and guest entertainers. The Main Bar is set between the Function Room and Games Room. Sport related pictures adorn the walls. Thursday night is Poker Night (Texas Hold 'em)

A wide range of beer styles are sold, many from innovative and new breweries. There are two regularly changing real ales available. There are normally two real ciders. There are around 8 craft beers, some of which are keykeg. The building in which the pub is located is a former 14th century manor house and one of Melton Mowbray's oldest buildings. It has a timber frame dating back to 1301 and in the 1500's it was known as the manor of John Mowbray. The micropub is currently a 'work in progress' with plans for live music and possibly outdoor barbecues in the garden in the summer months.
