On the edge of one of Europe's largest private housing estates, the New Inn in the 1890s and more recently the Yorkshire Dragoon, from which it was restored in a careful and restrained fashion with a very large, L - shaped open bar along with alcoves. There is also a large grassed areas and patio. With four handpumps, (though with only 2 in service on recent visits), extensive all day menus, a Real Ale Club Sun/Thu from 6:30 pm, offering significant discounts and also mystery trips. As part of the Sir John Fitzgerald estate you can use their group card discount scheme. Attracts diners as well as real beer drinkers.

Recently reopened and refurbished local's pub close to the junction of the A631 and A634 roads. Did sell real ale until quite recently but has not done so since reopening. Recently underwent a name change from Don Jon, named after a famous racehorse, to Don John.

Large 1970's estate pub, in what locals refer to as the new estate. Originally built for Hardy & Hansons Brewery, Nottingham. Subsequently acquired by Greene King upon takeover of H&H. It caters mostly for the local trade and sports fans. Food is sold at lunchtime and evening. Recently made a welcome return to selling real ale again. Usually two Greene King beers on the handpumps. Food is available every lunchtime and until 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

Former residential hotel on a busy cross roads. Completely refurbished and reopened by Wetherspoon in 2012 after a lengthy period of closure. Now firmly established, this spacious pub has an attractive family dining area offering typical Wetherspoon value for money food and drink. The reopening of the Queens led to a much needed raising of the profile of real ale in Maltby. Local CAMRA best pub refurbishment award 2013. Look out for the statue of local cricket hero Fred Trueman, made from bike chains, and the figures on a balcony depicting the Chuckle Brothers. Murals in garden by Tabby Riley. The real ales are joined by a real cider on the bar. Handy for Coronation Park, next door. Regular Meet the Brewer nights held. Next to Coronation Park and handy for Maltby Crags and Roche Abbey.

Typical 1970's build estate pub, opened in 1979, standing back from the B6427 road, heading towards Braithwell. Situated in the Little London area of the township, it was originally built for the Mansfield Brewery Co and was subsequently acquired by Marstons when they took over that brewery. It has recently changed ownership but the new owner is not yet known. A welcome convert to real ale in 2018 with a single hand pump selling a changing beer. This is sometimes increased to two Often from Chantry, Greene King or Sharp's. Real ale is scarce in this satellite town, so it is a welcome addition to the handful of real ale outlets. There is an open ic night on Thursday at 8.30 pm, with live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The former White Swan recently reopened as an Punjabi style restaurant. On the A634, close to the junction with the A631. Near to Maltby Crags. Former coaching inn that dates back centuries but has been opening and closing regularly, as a pub, in recent years.
