Large 1970's estate pub, in what locals refer to as the new estate. Originally built for Hardy & Hansons Brewery, Nottingham. Subsequently acquired by Greene King upon takeover of H&H. It caters mostly for the local trade and sports fans. Food is sold at lunchtime and evening. Recently made a welcome return to selling real ale again. Usually two Greene King beers on the handpumps. Food is available every lunchtime and until 9pm on Friday and Saturday.
