The Brewery Tap, in the red-brick former post office, is a few steps away from the Bridgewater Canal. The bar area is complemented by the subdued lighting and comfy armchairs in the front room which is warmed by a wood-fired stove. The Bull is situated by to the Bridgewater Canal, next to the hump backed bridge leading out of the village. The popular comfortable lounge area with a real fire is to the front of the pub, and a Public Bar to the rear. A family run gastro pub next to the church and close to Lymm Dam, the Church Green is home to Chef Aiden Byrne. Bar meals are available in the small lounge area by the bar, with the main restaurant with its focus on meat occupying most of the pub supplemented by the glass-fronted all weather 'pavilion' at the back. Breakfasts are also served on daily and a children's menu is also available. Winner of regular awards for culinary excellence. The three regular beers rotate with any two on at a time. A deli shop operates Wednesday to Sunday.
