The Brewery Tap, in the red-brick former post office, is a few steps away from the Bridgewater Canal. The bar area is complemented by the subdued lighting and comfy armchairs in the front room which is warmed by a wood-fired stove. Four changing beers are either from the pub's own microbrewery or nearby Dunham Massey and include at least one dark beer such as the award-winning Porter. Open Mic night twice a month. Renowned local pies are always available. Free wi-fi and newspapers to wile away the day. Quality cask ale in a pleasant environment.

The Bull is situated by to the Bridgewater Canal, next to the hump backed bridge leading out of the village. Hydes Original Bitter and Lowry are offered alongside one real ale from the Hydes Seasonal list or Hydes Guest beer list, including those under the Beer Studio & Provenance umbrellas. The popular comfortable lounge area with a real fire is to the front of the pub, and a Public Bar to the rear. This is well worth a visit, as an unspoilt local pub, where no food is served, and conversation is the norm. 50p per pint discount on cask ales Monday & Thursday.

A family run gastro pub next to the church and close to Lymm Dam, the Church Green is home to Chef Aiden Byrne. Bar meals are available in the small lounge area by the bar, with the main restaurant with its focus on meat occupying most of the pub supplemented by the glass-fronted all weather 'pavilion' at the back. Breakfasts are also served on daily and a children's menu is also available. Winner of regular awards for culinary excellence. The three regular beers rotate with any two on at a time. A deli shop operates Wednesday to Sunday.
