This pub is situated next to Lowestoft's bascule bridge. As of 19/08/21 the bar is owned by Moss & Co with food now provided from Thursday to Sunday by FUPBURGER. There are two sets of three hand pumps with three different beers being served initially. Also a new round bar offers craft beers and a cocktails, whilst The Hatch serves takeaway coffee and tea. The pub is surrounded on three sides by a paved area which came about as part of a major esplanade improvement in 2007. Outside there is a patio area.
