Small, friendly, family-owned pub on the northern outskirts of Leek, built in 1702, near to the remains of Dieu-le-Cresse Abbey, and backing on to The Peak District National Park; it comprises of two rooms to either side of the bar, the left-hand one being twice as big as the one on the right. Good quality home cooked food, with a good size car park to the front plus a sun terraced seating area, along with a smoker's seating. One of the guest beers usually comes from a local micro-brewery. Overnight accommodation is available in the three en-suite bedrooms. Changed hands in April 2016 and has been tastefully and sympathetically refurbished throughout to a high standard. Suggest booking for the excellent Sunday lunch as it can get very busy

Small, two-roomed community pub on the estate of Haregate at the top of Leek; there is a comfortable drinking area to the front of the pub, while the more expansive room at the back contains two league standard pool tables and darts board. Popular with the many teams that play from there, Pool, Darts, Dominoes etc. Live entertainment is provided at the weekends. The guest beers will usually come from the more well-known breweries. Limited menu food including all day breakfast is served on Saturdays 12 noon till 6PM

Traditional friendly local just off the Market Square in the great pub town of Leek, formerly called the Union Inn; the old name is still inscribed on the windows. There is a covered smoking area to the back, regular entertainment is provided, and there are 2 or 3 dart boards provided. The back area contains 2 pool tables. The guest beers can hail from many interesting breweries, both local and not so local. The pub won the Potteries Branch pub of the month award in June 2012. Sympathetically but substantially refurbished in 2017 to create a smart modern drinking establishment that caters for all ages. Jukebox contains a massive collection of past hits from not so often seen bands

Recently been awarded a place in the Good Beer Guide. From the outside, this pub looks like a fairly small street corner local, but appearances can be deceptive, as it seems much larger on the inside. The lounge has many pictures and ornaments commemorating Queen Victoria (the pub's original name being The Queen's Head); the bar has a pool table and dart board and the Churchill Room has the expected trappings. All these rooms are divided by an unusual island bar, which has the pumps at the centre 9behind the staff serving rather than around the counters. Live entertainment takes place every other Saturday. One of the smart Joule's brewery owned tap houses in the great pub town of Leek, is situated on the main shopping street in the centre of town. There is the usual four Joule's beers available (3 regular and a seasonal special possibly Kolkata, Old No.6) plus two rotating guest beers which usually includes Sarah Hughes, there is also three craft brewed beers are always on tap as well. The pub is split level, the bar area has a real log fire and comfortable leather arm chairs whilst the upper area is suitable for dining. Very pleasantly decorated throughout. Live bands every Saturday night and other occasional music events in large marquee in rear beer garden yard. tea, coffee and lighter snacks are available at most times. Estate pub on the outskirts of Leek, with a small bar area and a larger, more comfortable lounge. There is a dartboard in the bar room and Sunday lunches are served in the lounge from 12noon-3pm; there is a small car park in front of the pub. Owned by Dorbiere, Two hand pulls serve a constantly changing list of guests which will hail from one of the more well known breweries.

There are two match condition pool tables, a dartboard and a TV to occupy your attention, and a small smoking patio is located at the rear of the pub with a car park to the side. Regular charity events including a monthly pub quiz in aid of local dog rescue society. No regular food served, but there is a popular Steak Night on the third Saturday of every month and occasional other special events

Built in 1626, The Roebuck is steeped in character and charm. It makes for a lovely surrounding to enjoy a drink or a home cooked dish. 13 cask ale pumps occupy the bar which rumor has it, is the most in the Moorlands. Food is served daily including breakfast from 11am and is home to the Totally Locally Leek Burger, a dish that is created from local ingredients only, all sourced within a 100 yard radius! The fires are a haven from the cold and are perfect to cosy up to with a pint. For those summer months, ample outdoor seating to the front and rear catch the best of sunshine at any time of day, plus there is regular live music and festivals held in the Hop Yard, with its own shed come bar stacked full of craft beers, you will find it difficult to leave. The new “Kegs Below Deck” bar was launched in June 2018 boasting an additional 6 Craft Ale pumps. Four legged friends are very welcome, they even have a treat jar and the pub regularly take donations for the local dog rescue centre. The Bottle Lab bottle shop is above with a large range of UK and foreign bottled beers. There's a tasting room so that you can sit and drink your bottle of choice.

Opened in November 2018, this smart modern bar and eatery occupies 2 floors in a converted textile mill. The basic industrial style interior is taken back to the original Victorian brickwork with much of the tables and seating made from scaffolding poles and planks but very comfortable non the less. On the ground floor is a dog friendly specialist craft beer bar which serves 3 real ales and up to 10 craft (keg) beers on tap, nearly always including 2 stouts or porters. The first floor is given over to dining where you can watch your meal being freshly prepared and cooks in the open plan kitchen. Note the first floor is accessible at pavement level on the steep hill to the side of the main entrance. Awards: OCR Conversion to pub use - Highly commended (2019)
