Abbey Inn

Opening hours

Small, friendly, family-owned pub on the northern outskirts of Leek, built in 1702, near to the remains of Dieu-le-Cresse Abbey, and backing on to The Peak District National Park; it comprises of two rooms to either side of the bar, the left-hand one being twice as big as the one on the right. Good quality home cooked food, with a good size car park to the front plus a sun terraced seating area, along with a smoker's seating. One of the guest beers usually comes from a local micro-brewery. Overnight accommodation is available in the three en-suite bedrooms. Changed hands in April 2016 and has been tastefully and sympathetically refurbished throughout to a high standard. Suggest booking for the excellent Sunday lunch as it can get very busy
