Silverfjord
Ruthven Rd, Kingussie PH21 1ES
After a closure of about two years, the "Silli"opened again at the beginning of November 2016 and two weeks later the restaurant was re-opened and then the hotel rooms. The whole place has been modernised and is bright and comfortable and the small public bar has a very welcoming open fire, is a part of the hotel and restaurant. Three handpumps were installed soon after opening, but those only lasted 12 months before being removed. However bottled Cairngorm beer is still avaialble. Many thanks to Norman MacKenzie (Edinburgh CAMRA) for the picture.
