Bristol’s 5th Micropub opened 4th May 2019 in a former charity shop at the eastern end of the main street. The bar area as you enter is simply furnished and there is a small snug area at the rear. The beers and ciders for sale are displayed on retro-style computer screen on the wall. Board games are available to play and there is low-volume background music. Look out for regular tap takeovers from local breweries and some further afield.

A large pub on the main Kingswood road the A420. It has a front bar and a large open back bar where they have live music. It is run by a lover of psychobilly music. A patio area is at the rear of the pub.

A Grade II listed former coaching Inn, with a recessed games area and a very large patio and garden area to the rear. Being listed has delayed a long planned refurb. The owner/landlord is a real ale enthusiast and offers interesting guest beers, including stouts, porters and milds - one or two at a time plus bottle conditioned beers.Through a family connection he occasionally sells beers from the tiny Madrigal brewery in North Devon which will not be found anywhere else locally. No food but you are welcome to bring in a takeaway. Dogs on leads welcome and kids until 9pm. Free car parks are 200 yards away. May sometimes open beyond stated times and Sunday opening may change to 11am. Pool, darts and cribbage available. CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. This friendly, one-bar pub, with a strong local trade takes it's name from the nearby Dinneywicks Hill, a burial ground for horses in civil war. Home of local soccer club.
