Converted in 2001, the former bed shop building is a modern, town centre Wetherspoon outlet. The prosaic architecture is outshone by its range and quality of ales to feature several times in this Guide. Alongside the permanent beers are seven changing guest beers, regularly featuring Saltaire, Leeds, Adnams, Naylor's, Acorn and Moorhouses's. American craft beers on cask are an occasional feature at beer festivals. Three real ciders and one perry always available. Food served 7am-11pm and alcohol served from 9am.
