Double fronted building (1901) opposite Fire Station boasting original wood settles, comfortable lounge areas and a traditional and cosy ambience with over 50 gins available rugby-themed memorabilia. The Stables Function Room is available for corporate or party hire. The landlady, a CAMRA member, runs a charity pub quiz on the last Thursday of the month and sponsors HRFC. One roomed pub on the edge of the town centre, near Lidl supermarket. Bought by Steamin' Billy from Marston's and refurbished in June 2016 with wooden floors and new seating inside. Outside there is a large beer garden with plenty of seating, a fire pit, outside bar and two covered 'bear pit' areas. Traditional pub food is from the 'Burgers and Brews' menu. Hosts live events including monthly quiz, open mic night and Beer and Burger festival.

Members are very welcome, as are accompanied non-CAMRA members on payment of a £1 signing-in fee. New Steward January 2019 The large bar has a pool table, dartboard and dominoes available. Refurbished January 2020. There is also weekly entertainment on a Friday night within the bar area and Bingo is played every Saturday from 9pm. The club also has a large function room which is available for hire and sits on six acres of land where our football and cricket teams play. Cask Marque beers include Doom Bar all week and at least one guest beer available. Easily accessible, the club has a large car park and is on three bus routes.

A large modern pub, open-plan but split in to three levels, the bar is at street level. The middle level has comfortable seating and some dining tables. The top level is at the back of the building, it provides the main dining area and has period timbers in the walls. Previously owned by Wetherspoons. Dogs welcome in the front bar area. Reasonably priced food, new menu 2020 - "Niri Niri's chicken". Breakfast served from 9 till 12 Beers include 2 from Elmesthorpe Brewery and several guests. One real cider. Disabled access: level from street to the front bar, disabled toilet, stair lift to middle section. The name of this pub recalls the office created by William the Conqueror. The Baron of Hinckley was also Lord High Steward of England.
