Farr's School of Dancing

The premises are a former commercial property leased from Hackney council and boasts five hand-pumps dispensing a varying range of ales. Fashioned in the usual Antic "distressed" style with raw brickwork, exposed pipework and "pre-owned" furniture. there are plans to have a dining area upstairs whilst the adjoining premises will be used as offices. Portobello took over from Antic here in late 2020.

Renamed MAP Maison in December 2015 focussing on cocktails although some keg lager may still be available.

This independently run dive bar opened in the 2000s, beginning the trendification of Dalston. It occupies a ground floor unit in what used to be Dudleys, which looks like a typical interwar department store. DJs and arty entz. No real ale but some keg beers from the likes of Charles Wells (Young's London Stout) and Marston's.
