A single bar pub just off the main Gosport road and close to Fareham Marina at the head of Fareham Creek. Inside there is a 'U' shaped counter and evidence that the pub was divided into 2 separate bars (by the change in flooring from bare boards to flagstones). To the right is a small raised area and the furniture consists mainly of high tables & chairs.

Opened in June 2019, the bar serves three ales on handpump, five craft beers from the tap wall and up to four ciders, all of which are listed on the TV screen. With plenty of seating and no loud music, it's easy to converse while supping. There is a bottle shop with local and foreign cans and bottles available for takeaway purchase. A pub to be recommended.
