A single bar pub just off the main Gosport road and close to Fareham Marina at the head of Fareham Creek. Inside there is a 'U' shaped counter and evidence that the pub was divided into 2 separate bars (by the change in flooring from bare boards to flagstones). To the right is a small raised area and the furniture consists mainly of high tables & chairs.

This town-centre Wetherspoon situated in a former Brewery, is in a pedestrianised street, convenient for the bus-station and shopping centre. Wall-mounted portraits with brief histories of famous local figures add to the cosy atmosphere. The three guest beers normally include one from a local brewery, and the occasional USA guest beer (brewed in the UK). Near each handpump is a mini Kilner jar showing the beer colour. Real cider is available occasionally.
