A single bar pub just off the main Gosport road and close to Fareham Marina at the head of Fareham Creek. Inside there is a 'U' shaped counter and evidence that the pub was divided into 2 separate bars (by the change in flooring from bare boards to flagstones). To the right is a small raised area and the furniture consists mainly of high tables & chairs.

This town-centre Wetherspoon situated in a former Brewery, is in a pedestrianised street, convenient for the bus-station and shopping centre. Wall-mounted portraits with brief histories of famous local figures add to the cosy atmosphere. The three guest beers normally include one from a local brewery, and the occasional USA guest beer (brewed in the UK). Near each handpump is a mini Kilner jar showing the beer colour. Real cider is available occasionally.

Reopened in August 2014 under new management and free of tie. There are two separate bars, a games room with Sports TV and a lounge bar. Up to two guest beers are available. Pub food is available all day on Saturdays and until 6 pm on Sundays.

Reopened under new management in April 2019. Situated a short a walk from the bus station and the West Street precinct and shopping area. The bar is divided into games and dining areas.

Golden Lion

A very well presented Grade II pub situated at the northern end of the High Street conservation area. The Pub is divided into 2 drinking areas and has been tastefully redecorated. The open fires have been retained and the walls are adorned with old sporting cartoons and photographs of historic Fareham.

An urban free house (for beer), set back from the road in an established residential area. Popular for it's lunchtime food, it is generally fairly quiet in the evenings. In winter, real fires may be lit in the cosy public and large lounge bar / dining area.
