This cosy Fuller's local is open plan with a light and airy feel, spruced up following a change of tenant. On cooler days there is a real log fire, and on warmers ones a sheltered patio garden. Note early closing on Sundays.
Fox & Hounds
Bishopsgate Road, Englefield Green TW20 0XU
RE-OPENING 7th July 2020 starting with front garden. This old pub appeared in a drawing made in the 1780's of the nearby entrance to Windsor Great Park. Proximity to the park is also reflected in the polo memorabilia forming part of the decor. It is now very much food led, with toast and buns available in the morning, through to full a la carte lunch and dinner. There is a pleasant garden and patio to the front, and three ales from the Marstons/Brakspears portfolio are usually available.
Happy Man
12 Harvest Road, Englefield Green TW20 0QS
In Victorian times, two houses were converted to this pub serving workers building Royal Holloway College. Refurbished but virtually unchanged, this previous local CAMRA Pub of the Year is a popular haunt for students and locals. Usually four varying ales on, both local and national. In more normal times regular beer festivals are held on rear patio, and darts and quiz nights. Food available every day, including home made Thai. The rear patio has a heated marquee.

Also now known as Jude's Bar, a street corner local in village centre. Features pool table, sports TV, regular karaoke and live or disco music events. Licensee was the chef at another pub, and food goes from lunch time bar snacks and baguettes, through to an extensive evening menu, and on Sundays traditional roast. Unfortunately reported that real no longer available. More reports welcome.
Packhorse
Egham Hill, Englefield Green TW20 0BQ
Lively pub being run as a social enterprise by Royal Holloway Students Union, open to all the local community. Unfortunately ceased serving a real ale due to poor quality and low take up. Entertainment includes Sky and BT Sports TV, with occasional acoustic live music and entertainment events, as well as poker nights and smartphone quiz.
