A Georgian townhouse, grade II listed, converted to the Townhouse pub in 1996. Now a popular modern bar with a spacious conservatory and enclosed garden. Cask Marque accredited There are four hand-pumps of ever changing guest ales. The beers are sourced occasionally from local breweries. DJ music from 9pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. Live music Sunday afternoons (3pm to 6pm).

This is a small, yet perfectly formed, local pub located near the Cathedral car-park and a short stroll from the Cathedral itself. Formerly the Officer's Mess for the local Militia and recentley refurbished to create a separte restaurant area for fine dining. Ten hand-pumps serve up to five guest beers. The other beers are from Greene King including a rare outlet for XX Mild. No music or gaming machines makes this a relaxing pub with pleasant bar room banter. A beautiful walled garden can be found at the back.

Situated in a superb location next to the River Great Ouse overlooking an attractive marine and boathouses. Only a short walk from the City centre and is the closest pub to Ely Railway Station. Very popular with both the boating fraternity and visitors. The pub name is derived from the river diversion or cut that brought the Great Ouse nearer to Ely. There are a handful of tables on the narrow terrace for out door drinking and a separate restaurant bar for dinners.
