The original pub has been extended to form a bar area, a large restaurant and a separate function room for larger parties or private bookings. A large menu of homemade meals plus specials and a carvery are available every day. An interesting selection of old photos and other Ely memorabilia adorn the bar.
The pub takes its name from the Highflyer racehorse - a famous and undefeated Thoroughbred racehorse of the 18th century who built a small fortune for his owners!
