Forestdale Arms

Built in the 1960's as part of the Forestdale development this is a large open-plan pub at the lower end of Selsdon, serving the local estate. Given Asset of Community Value status in 2018. The small shopping centre nearby boasts one of the best fish and chip restaurants for miles.

Opened in December 2018, Mr Fox describes itself as a cocktail pub. Draught beers are from the Molson Coors stable. A limited selection of craft beers are available in cans. 'Happy Hour' is 4-7pm daily. There are two shuffleboard tables; these can be booked as can booths and various bar areas.

This is the bar of the tenpin bowling alley in Valley Park. There is ample parking on the site, which also has shops, restaurants and a cinema. A range of drinks is served, but not cask ale.

Relocated from Surrey Street to the former Maplins building, Matthews Yard comprises a café and an upstairs art space and theatre. The café/bar area displays several works by local artists. A small selection of bottled and canned beers are also available, including a range from the Cronx Brewery. The food served is 100% vegan.

Nestling beneath the flyover, Memory Box opened in April 2017 as a cocktail bar, with a focus during the day on selling food. It has a retro theme with images of Snow White and Jessica Rabbit hand drawn on the walls. Drinks deals are available until 9pm daily. Themed nights and other events occur daily, and the venue is available to hire.
