Relocated from Surrey Street to the former Maplins building, Matthews Yard comprises a café and an upstairs art space and theatre. The café/bar area displays several works by local artists. A small selection of bottled and canned beers are also available, including a range from the Cronx Brewery. The food served is 100% vegan.

The Boxbar has now changed its name to 'Beatbox'. It is a large space dominated most of the time by loud dance music. Only Coors Light (who sponsor the bar) and Staropramen are available on draught. The bottle choice comprises a small selection of mass-produced beer. Music events (DJs and performers) take place on Thursdays. Boxpark is adjacent to East Croydon Station.
